After serving for two years as president of the largest chapter of the CFSEI (Southeast Chapter), Mitch Hughes hands over the reins to Robert Warr at the educational luncheon held in Atlanta on February 2, 2012. Mitch said, " I thoroughly enjoyed my time as president and feel we contributed a great deal to the promotion and education of our industry. I also have great confidence in the abilities of Mr. Warr to bring the chapter to a position of even greater impact."

Differential Solutions opens DSI Structures, LLC, a full service contracting company addressing the needs of the mid-rise cold-formed steel industry. DSI President, Mitch Hughes says, "We are excited to take this step for our marketplace. For over twenty years we have provided industry-leading support, doing everything from engineering and software development, to setting up fabrication facilities, and providing project and construction management. Now we will be using our market leading experience and technology to perform these services directly for the owner and customer."

DSi celebrates the wedding of Doug Maddox and Wynne Crowe.
On April 23rd, 2011, Wynne Crowe and Doug Maddox became Mr. and Mrs. Maddox, in
a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony held at Summit Chase Country Club. The
couple beamed in excitement as they recited their vows in front of
approximately 150 guests, who then gathered for a lively reception in the
banquet hall of the country club.
Doug is the head of the DSi detailing department and has been part of the DSi team since 1999. Wynne is finishing up her nursing program.

DSI launches new web site
DSi is excited to introduce a new web site for the public. This site is
designed from the ground up to be user friendly, informative and supportive to
our industry. DSi's CEO, Mitch Hughes says, "We are really excited about our new
site and look forward to exploring further how it can help us support our
industry. Although our site obviously acts as a platform to tell people about
DSI, we also want it to be a portal for information and community support. That
is why we are offering an ever expanding selection of free software programs
and construction details, as well as a blog where we can explore how to
contribute to the construction industry in tangible ways."

For outstanding design and use of tilt-up, DSi is awarded top honors for design
of the Sonic Building at Bricktown.
