CFS Training and Education

Would you like to improve your ability to satisfy your client? Would you like to enter a new area of business or improve on an area in which you are currently involved? Would you like to see your processes become more streamlined and efficient, while experiencing improved profits? Achieving goals such as these can require several things; maybe it's more information or better understanding of CFS systems and processes, maybe it's a new way to look at your sales to delivery model, maybe it's greater understanding of how to provide an integrated sales, design, manufacturing and delivery model, or maybe it's all of these. Whatever it is, DSi is uniquely qualified to help bring your business to an entirely new level of success. Our track record includes helping companies move from small businesses to large, and large businesses to market share.

If you would like to see your company in a new and better place, let the people with the most diverse and extensive experience in our industry help you realize greater success. That company is DSi.

CFS Field Observation and Remediation

Cold-formed steel framed buildings often have thousands of components and connections. So how do you efficiently review CFS framing with the desire of meeting the structural requirements, when so many trades and processes can create conditions not evident on the design drawings? This course provides an overview of how to properly review load bearing and non-load-bearing, cold-formed steel framing systems for both shop fabricated and field fabricated assemblies, in an efficient and effective manner. Course topics include: What to look for in field observations of load-bearing construction, common problems encountered in the field, the differences in shop and field fabricated assemblies, interaction between CFS framing and other materials, reducing errors through training and intentional communication, proper response to potential problem areas, and remediation examples.
